Want your recomendations to AJS 37 /8 Bicke. You can see fotos of it to follow link: https://goo.gl/photos/Ua435vx4eGT1jtpr8
I from Russia, own this bicke one Year. It's possible to found missing parts fort this bicke? In Russia and on the e-bay.co.uk i not found any parts for it. I began to think about selling it. I not sure, any parts of this bicke are original AJS parts for this model.
thanks in advance

Denis

Hopefully Rob Harknett the clubs pre-war officer will be along soon to give you a critique on the pictures and the parts, it all looks AJS/Matchless to me but Rob will advise if it is and if it is correct for year.

Parts are still out there for these bikes although it may be different story in your locality.

Have you joined the yahoo pre war group? They specialise in these early bikes and will be able to comment as well, the link is here on the clubs main site page:

I can see most of the parts are for 1937. The main part that is not 1937 is the front end. The front wheel was first used in 1938 with the speedo drive, The forks were first used in 1939 and mat be 350 WD Matchless which were the same on 350 AJS. It may take a long while to find or make parts so the bike is 100% correct. You have most parts to make a bike, so I would start to make the bike then see what is missing. Even back in 1956 when I crashed my 350 AJS and I used the Matchless WD forks, as these were easy to find then.
