I can just read that my old mate Len Neve was there on the Huskie and the Kirby 440 Metisse. He did at one time get a works ride on an AMC 2-stroke, it wasn't AJS though. I think it was James, not very competitive, would have been about 1965/6. Here is a picture of Len on a 650 metisse. I raced it a few times at Canada Heights, lovely bike.
