" who cares why some bloke was kicked off a rally site for selling the works of satan, at least he tried,"

I doubt they were told to leave because the bikes were stormers as much as they rocked up uninvited and set up pitch to make some money on a private club run rally Cliff. I would hope much the same would happen if someone chancing their arm turned up with a load of spares or clothing, regalia or souveniers. If the club wanted traders of any kind at the rallies they would send out information and charge for pitches in the same way the BMF do or the VMCC at events like the Festival of 1000 bikes.

By the way, I'm thoroughly enjoying your journal describing the labour of love that is the restoration of your stormer, you are clearly passionate about the bikes. I'm afraid i've never been one for whom off roading held any interest and my motorcycle sport interest is in road and short circuit racing but each to their own. My old Dad was a grass tracker and he followed trials and scrambles but give me the TT or a GP race anyday! :D
I grew up on 2 strokes then Jap 4 stroke twins and multis and really dont care how often the plug sparks so long as it's in a bike and goes like stink! If you get to Emmer Green we can have a few and swap notes!
It's all just riding motorbikes
