Hi Neville, we edown to Hayle on Friday 11th, horrendous journey, accident just as we turned onto M3 with the approaches jammed up, then at Boscombe Down more jams and then to top it all an accident at Honiton complete with air ambulance, maybe you saw the aftermath of it. First time I have missed the Barmaid's Fancy for years, never mind there's always next year.

Hidden Dips

Post by SPRIDDLER »

Ah, I left The Portreath Arms pub (in the motorhome) at 10 p.m. after the Wake and arrived home (320 miles) at 4 a.m. Clear all the way.
Funny thing, on the A303 there's a series of road signs: 'Hidden Dips' so it helped to pass the time looking for my favourite; Cheese and Chives.
Passing RNAS Culdrose the day before there was another sign 'Cats Eyes Removed'. Cruel lot those Celts.

It's hardly a holiday, Two days and 30 bags later of garden cuttings and now two days plus of painting the outside of the bungalow, be glad to get back home for a rest and get out on one of the bikes.
