Wey Valley notes

Postby Mallet » Wed Aug 12, 2015 4:17 pm

Here in the Wey Valley, Glorious Leader walked away with not one, but two awards at the recent Fleet Fox & Hounds run, much to Destroyer’s chagrin.
He was awarded the Peter Horwood(the late Vigorous Rider) trophy for best bike on the run(a 1934 Sunbeam), awarded by Mrs Horwood, & at the conclusion of the run at Dogmersfield Fete, he won another award from the Fete organisers, for, Best bike again!
The recent White Dove rally was well attended on a warm dry sunny day(ably run for many years now, by the Organiser & his merry volunteers), where G-Ray from the Hampshire’s won a rosette for best AMC in the show, despite murmurings of discontent from The Destroyer.
The Knightrider had a recent kerfuffle with his Brough Superior in the car park of the 4 Horseshoes, but was able to get going again after a push & a shove from Mallet, Hair Flick & Others, & was escorted home by Glorious Leader.
One last thing, Youngman! Has decided he’d rather be known by something else, so henceforth, he is the Teapot!
Let’s see you out there, Matchless Maniacs & Ajay Wildthings!
Born Hampshire, Ride Hampshire!
