Wey Valley notes
Here in the Wey Valley, we’d like to say happy New Year & safe riding for the coming season.
4 riders made it to the Change of the Clocks meet in October & 4 riders made it to the Hampshire’s frostbite run in November, although Teapot rode straight to the lunch stop, held up by family commitments & Mallet went in his car due to an injury that has him wobbling about on crutches.
Several Wey Valley riders & friends attended Auntie Wainrights Christmas Coffee morning at Lionhearts workshop, where even customers undergoing MoT’s were treated to good cheer & mince pies.
This was followed by our monthly lunchtime meet which we declared to be our festive lunch where some riders brought along partners.
We even made welcome Daft Vader & his dearly beloved, up from Sussex for the day.
Our final clubnight of the year, we managed a total of 8 members attending! Bit of a record for us that time of year & made a bit more festive by Mallet, who brought in festive Bakewell tarts to share, yum!
Lets see you out there, Matchless Maniacs & Ajay Wildthings!
