Wey Valley Notes

Post by Mallet »

Here in the Wey Valley, our riding season got off to a damp start on Good Friday, by being cancelled due to an extreme wetness event and moved to Saturday as an Easter Saturday Lunch. Glorious Leader however, decided that no matter what, he would ride out on Easter Monday regardless! And he did and 8 brave souls went with him. Mallet however, was more sensible, went in the car, but also due to a broken bike, and stayed dry.
Wey Valley riders also attended the Fleet Lions run on Mayday Monday, Destroyer was rumoured to have won something, but it has yet to be disclosed to this writer, others went to the Popham Mayday rally and later the Basingstoke Transport Festival, where the Longbow was seen displaying his gorgeous Model X. Change that ruddy carb Longbow, it might run then, aha!
Teapot, Teapot, I have absolutely no idea what Teapot has been up to, he hasn't said anything
The Northants Old Tyme run came and went, several Wey Valley riders attended, no reported kerfuffle's.
Fire them up and let's see you out there, Matchless Maniacs and Ajay Wildthings.
Born Hampshire, Ride Hampshire!
