Yup, it looks pretty awful!-but I am still pleased with my Chinese "A.J.S."-the Yamaha "copy". Anyway, it keeps doing 100m.p.g.!!

New AJS Bobber 125!!!!
Ah 'Bobber'. Currently about the most over used motorcycle tag out there!
Appropriate name I guess as that thing is as much a bobber as it is an AJS.

New AJS Bobber 125!!!!
normally i introduce myself before posting on a new forum, sorry about that, but i have something to get of my chest, the following bikes AJS EOS CHOPPER, BOBBER, DAYTONA are designed by johnny pag of America, and are named as the spyder, BOBBER, DAYTONA, to keep cost down they are built in china along side jap bikes, even 70 percent of the parts on Harley's are built there,
my own a AJS EOS is 2 years old as 14000 miles and rode all year, i am not a Sunday rider, the bike as never broken down but is maintained properly, spares problems none same day if i need, and will do 70 plus to the gallon.
do not get me wrong china build some terrible bikes, but these are built to the customers requirements, namely Kinroad, lasted one year and succumbed to rust. but the new AJS is a good bike, just not the best.
I could go on but do some research
thank you Ian

Just spotted a rider training school not 5 miles from me which has 4 of the (AJS 125's) and is an AJS dealer with new bikes in stock for £1200 on the road.
I'll have to enquire....

Forgot to type before sending.
If you read down the advert it says
"The Bobber would be able to have the 350cc engine conversion fitted for those with a full motorcycle licence, the cost would be approx £1500 fitted "
Anybody got a spare 350 to give it try could be interesting
Regards
Mike d.
