matchless g2 screw threads tired what thread are they can i drill out and tap bigger or new or helli-coil ??????????

Not quite sure about the cover screws, but most electrical equipment screws are BA, as I have said before try in this case, a BA nut on the screw.

Rob is correct, they are BA ..........2BA, if the thread has stripped in the casing best thing to do is to tap it out to 1 or OBA, cheese head BA screws are available, you will also need to buy a BA tap to suit the screws you buy. I wouldn't use a helicoil because the casing is too thin, and helicoils like a blind hole, thats only my opinion.
