One owner G5 on ebay

Post by Ozmadman »

Nice little bike! one owner from new, high mileage but owner reckons it's fine could be a bargain with a good offer. Wonder what that metal plate just in front of the oil filler cap is for?? (Picture 7)

Theres also a mudflap added on the mudguard, probably used on muddy country tracks. Also has an external kickstarter spring in the form of a bungee strap.

Nice little bike. Hopefully the new owner will keep it original and unrestored.

Erm... what year is it?

It's quite tempting, isn't it?

It shows total lack of style. Yellow kick-start bungees are so dated. Everyone knows they should be green. Like mine was.

Should the bungee had been British Racing green Janet, which was also the must have colour of plug lead back in the late 50's.
A stronger kick starter spring was introduced in 1962.
