Glad it worked for you - as Sprid says it is nice to buy a part nowadays that not only fits but works too. Mine has been on for a couple of years now and still good - just need to sort out all the other leaks now :roll:

Hi, so can anybody tell me if the alternative seal is compatible to a G12 1959. If so what‘s the article number for it at AMOC ?

I've been running with a "Buckingham" seal on my 1940 G3WO for around 3 years now - granted I've not done lots of miles - and am pleased to report no leaks from the chaincase.

The discussion is of the pressed steel chaincase. Your 59 G12 should have an aluminium one. So not compatible.
