Nuffink does though does it ?

When the battery on me Pan European packed up in a car park, I walked to the local motorcycle emporium and purchased a new one.
Having forgotten the alarm code to put it in maintenance mode I had to change the battery with 120 decibels of alarm disturbing the peace.
Despite the constant stream of passers by no-one questioned my motives although some people did complain about the noise.

Good job it sends me a text message 'cos there's no point hoping the public will intervene or even call the fuzz.

A friend of mine has a high wattage pir security light in his workshop aimed at the eye level of anyone entering. Aim is to make them flee before even tackling the bike's lock.

"There is a warning not to carry the product in your pocket."

Quite right too. many years ago, before the Matchless! I had a Tiger Cub which I secured with a padlock. Padlock in pocket, key in padlock towards my hip (I was only 19) off the Cub onto hip, key into hip.

It was very painful.
