I think Dan is a recently joined club member but this is not showing and his posts are having to be authorised by a moderator. If I am correct on this Dan, please email Eamonn the webmaster to get your log in and membership linked (webmaster@jampot.com) with the details.

Well in that case being a member I have one you can borrow but not being able to drive due to a foot op you'll have to collect it from Southampton.

Thought that might help the offers. I would be prepared to post one to borrow after Xmas as I am West London based.

Clive, tried signing in as Eamonn suggested but it would not accept it, cannot re register as username/email already used.

ajscomboman, thanks for the offer... very grateful. We can come down to get it.... if fact its 90% stripped so could put it in car and do the job in boot..... what day/time would suit....would Wednesday morning be ok?

Yep that'd be fine, should only be a couple of minutes to pull the gear off.

I'll send address details via PM.

You know full well how it didn't go!!!!! I've used the puller on several gears but this bugger is really on there! So bloody tight it pulled the tang of the puller like a ring pull on a drinks can. Heated the gear up and still bugger all happened. I'll get the puller welded and may have a look at getting some pullers made as they're not available anywhere.
