AJS "MKB 658"

Post by Gary Mc »

Looking to locate a 1951 AJS 350, not sure of exact model but it was a Rigid. Registration number MKB 658.

My grandfather who is now 90 years young bought the bike new from London Road in Liverpool. He owned it for approx 19 years and had covered about 27,000 miles when he sold it. According to the DVLA records the bike survives and is currently taxed.

We would love to know its whereabouts, and if feasible maybe reunite him with his old machine. We also have quite a few period photos of it along with other items such as original invoices etc, which may be of interest to the current owner.

Thanks!

Contact between the two groups has been made and a meeting is being organised.
