G15CS Fork Springs
My 1967 / 68 G15CS has internal and external springs on the Roadholders. It rides like a pogo stick!. Am I correct in thinking it should have either internal or external springs? If so what is correct?

Re: G15CS Fork Springs
One pal has a G15/45 and another a G15 CSR which don't have external ('external' ) springs. I've never had Roadholders but here are two techy articles which may help:

The Spares List for AMC Hybrids (Roadholder forks) lists only the usual 'main' and 'buffer' springs which are internal:

Your '68 G15CS should have internal springs only.GSM wrote:My 1967 / 68 G15CS has internal and external springs on the Roadholders. It rides like a pogo stick!. Am I correct in thinking it should have either internal or external springs? If so what is correct?
Note there are lots of options to improve Roadholder forks. You may ant to read up on the subject at AccessNorton.com .
