Metering jet removal - cylinder head
Cylinder heads removed. There is a restricted flow (compared to the other 3) on one of the metering jets when blowing them through with compressed air suggesting something may be lodged above it. I can pass a length of soft wire easily through 3 of them right through the oil passage but not the 4th. Could anyone advise how to remove the jet please. Many thanks.

Re: Metering jet removal - cylinder head
If its blocked then a little swarf from a drill wont hurt. But, I would use a drill bit just big enough to enable using a self tapper screw to then pull the plug out. A too bigger drill risks enlarging the hole making a replacement plug a loose fit.
The manual suggests swaging the new plug so its a good snug fit.
