you will scare yourself silly when you do this, it sounds awful!

It may sound awful, but think how reassuring it is when you listen to your own machine and realise (hopefully) that it is not as bad as you first thought!

I trust you AND your bike got home in one piece on Sunday then, Des? Headlight still in place?

Turns out it was the one which says "there's a con rod about to come out through the crankcase". I daresay I'll recognise it next time.

Shan't need the screwdriver on Sunday after all ... ho hum.
