NGK Plugs

Post by oasist1980_LAPSED »

Im currently running on a NGK B8ES plug, or is the B7ES better?

Would it be better with a Champion plug?

Thanks

Can't comment on G3/Model 16s, but my magneto Model 31 was transformed by fitting Champion N5Cs in place of NGK B8ES.

I run mine on B7ES with no trouble and if you find a friendly motor factor, they are about £1.50 each. Just check they are proper NGKs.I have never had any problems, but loads of fakes about

Buy mine on internet from green spark plug company although they are more expensive than Alan quoted. For a magneto bike i also shut the gap down to about 20thou.
They also supply a rather natty red plug cap which i have fitted to the G11CS and it easily adds another 10mph to top speed especially whilst you are standing admiring it.😜

Always used the Champion N5 (now N5C).

I use 6's and 7's twins or singles, I think 8's might be a bit cold

I go mine from The Green Spark Company, as recommended elsewhere in here. That way I knew I was getting the real thing. They do loads of other useful stuff.

I always use N5C and get them from the spares scheme.
