500 twin heads

Post by Stuart Jenkins »

Hello,
I've got a set of 500 twin heads and would like help finding out what year they're from. They don't seem to have a part number cast into them anywhere, the recess for the barrel spigot is 3"/76.2mm in diameter.
Any ideas? Many thanks.

Look closely for a six digit part number on each head. Different for left and right. Post it here and you may get an answer!

They're '56 - '59 heads.

Hi Gerry, they have no casting numbers on them.

That's great, thanks Dave

So another question, I've also got a set of 500 barrels and the spigot is larger at about 77.5mm, would these be later model 60's maybe?
Thanks
Stuart
