Very simple question about washers

Just about to put the head back on my 1961 Matchless G3 and the washers look a bit past it, there are 4 3/4 inch washers used on the securing bolts to the barrel and two 1/2 inch washers on bolts from the rocker. Are these special hardened washers I need to order or can I just pop down to my local hardware shop? Cheers guys in advance. Mike

The measurements I gave were external, apologies, the part is (000010) ans describes as a PLAIN WASHER; 3/8, I'm guessing this is just bog standard hardware shop yes?
