Tank decals

Hi , I have a 49 Matchless G80 clubman , Tank decals ...... can someone tell me what is correct , are these just painted on or do people use decal , mine are painted, quite wide , in white and are a bit different on both sides , ! I haven't seen any white decals just some twin line ones .cheers

I use the water slide M in silver , with lacquer over the top , part no 011051 in spares scheme . you have to be careful with lacquer to make sure the transfer is not effected

Same bike as brochure, it has the metal M with wings, it's the D I'm inquiring about should it be white or silver ? Are there decals available or just get them painted .

Hi does this file on the archives help? http://archives.jampot.dk/technical/Tan ... ackson.pdf It mentions a single blue pinstripe in the centre but I cant see mention of the base colour.
The "D" transfers can be somewhat tricky to install neatly, so if painting is an option I would go for it.
