Armour's Exhausts

Post by Bill N »

Hi All,
I am toying with the idea of replacing the exhaust on my Model 8 (after I've fixed the loss of compression  ). The existing exhaust has clearly lived a life and makes a somewhat harsh note. Its OK but I'm not completely happy with it and it makes me wonder how long it will last. Past experience tells me that the state of the exhaust may influence how well an engine runs. I'm not sure how serious I am about doing it yet but I wondered if anybody had any experience with Armour exhausts or opinions about them?

Cheers,

Bill.

I can't speak to your model, but having used Armors for a twin exhaust I'd happily buy again.
Twin fit is fiddly but does all line up. Stainless steel tends to tarnish more than chrome but polishes back nicely again. Armors customer service was very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me identify correct pipes for me. Delivery was prompt rather than overnight.
