1949 ish rear rigid frame

Post by Tazmantic »

Hi so I found a rear rigid frame for my 1946 project in a country far far away, though it’s not the correct one as I think it’s 1949 but what else could I do. but I have an issue it’s got bent in transit (bloody surprise) just wondered what the measurement of the rear fork should be where the back wheel goes?

Thanks

Take a look at page 46 of this file on the club archive: https://www.jampot.com/archives%5C01%20 ... ndards.pdf

Cheers Duncan mine seem to be about the same now I’ve tweaked it but is about 10mm wider at the middle section, drawing says total width approx 160mm mines about 170mm and I’m sure that can’t have moved

Looking closer at parts lists I now think my rear frame is possibly 50/51
