Rigid Frame rear section differences
I have a 49 rigid frame G80, my query is that in order to fit the rear chainguard I have had to extend the fixing to the primary chaincase by approx 35mm. I know the C versions were shorter wheelbase, this one seems to be longer than standard. Does anyone know which year the rear section of the frame is, or why mine is different?

Re: Rigid Frame rear section differences
My 49 frame needed an extension to the fitting point on the chainguard so it's probably correct. I think the correct fitting was a bracket which fitted under the battery holder.

Ok thank's for that, I haven't seen any mention of this anomaly previously so was curious.
By the way if anyone is thinking of getting an Indian made replacement chainguard, I would suggest you don't, they are rubbish!
