yep....was ITMA

The 120mph repo I picked up came from
Ebay. AU$120 including 53" cable. Face is
same diameter as original 'Smiths' but body
is about 30% deeper. According to the Smith's
part number cattledog, the genuine one on my
16MS started life on an Ariel Red Hunter. The repo is magnetic not chrono.

The Quest continues for an 85mph....original

Hey Tonker, are the 85 MPH chronometric speedometers harder to find than the 120 MPH models?

Yo Paul..... I havn't been able to find an 85mph, chrono or magnetic,
as yet. Bought a repo 120mph one from a bloke in Canberra, magnetic,

Still no luck with the search for an 85mph Smith's genuine or repo.
