If you're interested in documentary film and haven't seen these you've a treat in store. Two factory films from the 50's and two from the 80's. They're from the *riumph factory but fascinating all the same.

Great stuff, didn't see a torque wrench in sight, no wonder they leaked so much
Probably using similar to the torque spanners I used at Rover. Wish I could get a tyre on as quick as that though.

Fab film clips Spriddler! have you noticed in the first clip that the rider actually moves off whilst waving goodbye to the tramp with his right hand-must have had a tight throttle twistgrip setting !

you don't need a torque wrench to build an oil tight engine, just common sense, and a feel for the tools.

I am more bothered by the fact that Spriddler has been rummaging in a H****-D*********
forum.

Ken years ago i used to work with an old geezer who like Triumphs and HD'S and he used to say "Rick theres nothing wrong with a bit o C_ ck at the weekend"
