Ann, I strongly believe that you should be allowed near nothing sharper than a pillow....
Message for Kev - I reckon your best chance is a sympathy email/letter to DIY SOS. You'd definitely be the most deserving case of the month!
Janet is right, its a topic that need not be aired here. (Mainly because when I get back to UK theres a whole kitchen to renew at home, and I mean including the floor boards )
