Hello
I'm slowly working through the small problems on my 1961 G12 CSR. The latest is the folding kick-start lever. The folding part is loose and just as you lift your leg to kick it over it folds itself away. I've never taken one apart before, how does it lock in and out? Is it a ball and a spring? Any avice would be welcome.

Loose folding kick start.
Hi,I think it is a sprung ball which controls the position of the kickstart lever, but the hinged part is held in place by a spring washer and nut,if the nut is not tight enough the lever will tend to flop about a bit,so you could try tightening the nut a bit.
