cruising speed on model20
I don't think its a matter of which cams you have, but how much it vibrates. I have the 17 tooth front sprocket, and at 50 mph (true) it is absolutely smooth, at 55 it a bit more busy, and this is the best cruising speed. However 60-65 is no problem over long distances.
Also the vibes change according to how much luggage I have on and if fuel tank is empty/full. It's smoothest with full luggage on and an empty fuel tank.
I have had the crank balanced to a 60% factor, as opposed to 50% originally. The JP pistons are stone heavy, and lower the balance factor to around 40%, which will give more vibes if you don't rebalance it.
My twin is a '55.
