Hi i got my valve top back from the company, and i put the top on the engine again, evrything looks fine until i start the engine, the ticking noise was back.
I think it,s come from the valve.
I have done some reading and the cam followers can make this noise if they are prone.

Is there someone who had the same problem ?

Hi Skorstad.

Worn cam followers will make a loud clicking noise. Cam follower wear is very common on these early twins. The new followers available from the club spares scheme are made of better material and do not wear excessively.
