Can anyone confirm that the diameter for a model 8 kickstart is 5/8? I am finding one really hard to find!

My Model 14 is 5/8".
I too needed a new kickstart and found the the Ariel Arrow/Leader item is a perfect fit on the splines. The crank is approx. 1 1/4" shorter but I've had no problems in use. A new one from Draganfly was approx. £40

Stuoyb, you are a star! I found one on AMC classic for £90! It is supposed to be good quality but I have already sold one grandmother!Edited by - jimbob on 25 Nov 2010 10:13:55 AM
