Hi George

N.A. Lynn offers a refurb service for Jampot units on page 29 of the Jampot magazine.

Why not call your Scotland section secretary who may know of a local specialist or willing enthusiast for the forks?

Neville,
Since George lives in North Wales, I'm inviting him to come to our Section night next week, as it is somewhat closer to home than Scotland. One of our members is a dab hand with Teledraulics and Jampots.
Best regards and get fit soon!.

Ah, senior moment- I misread his profile as living in Fifeshire, not Flintshire, isn't it.

Well done Malleon - most maintenance is an art rather than a science but there's nothing like having an experienced guide.

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm setting my sights on a trike, but don't fancy having the tattoos

Forks and Jampots are not really that difficult to do yourself. The jampots might need a tool or two and the forks just need a bit of pulling(makes the heart pump).
The archives have all the information you need, or the helpline or back to the forum.

I agree I have just fully refurbished the forks on my 16M with no real problems. New seals guides etc. Just follow the instructions and take care. The only difficult part was pulling the upper and lower sections apart but with a bit of care no dmage was done. There was an article by Ken DeGroome that was on the forum and is very helpfull
