No spark offside plug.
Have lost spark on offside plug for my 1956 Model 30. Last ride bike would only tick over or take a tiny bit of throttle. Now won't start. New plugs, cleaned carb. Checked slip ring and carbon brushes, looked good. Checked sparks, none on offside plug, the other looked good. Any magxperts on here seen this before? Chris.

Have you tried another plug. Check that the mag points are opening for both cylinders.

Check for uneven wear of armature where the ground brush contacts & same for the slipring. Spark erosion will eventually pit both where the brushes no longer make contact. Cheers, Don.

I've ended up sending the mag to Plymouth for a rebuild. 'Kinell. That's going to be expensive. Chris
