Your link is dead right Bill but I don't think the bike is a genuine comp model. The factory didn't start producing them until 1946 from what Roy Bacon says and in my humble experience the letter C on the comp crankcase usually appears after the last engine number not after the model number. Also there should be a corresponding C after the frame number. Having said that the bronze head is interesting. Real rocking horse manure!
