My 18s just passed it's first warrant of fitness since I bought it five months ago. Nothing has fallen off for several hundred miles and everything works now except the dynamo, hey you can't have everything.
I have even got her a new reg plate, I exchanged the unlucky "13SRI" for "AJS51" so things are looking much better now.
The inspectors laughed at my 6volt headlamp which would not even register bright enough to work their lamp alignment machine. They were obviously sympathetic to a 61 years old machine, which was good to see.

What I meant to say was "I took in my old Commando without an alternator ,but with a charged battery and it passed all tests with flying
colours even the horn test...
