Hi All
I have just joined the club after purchasing my first AJS and first renovation project! I am well chuffed as this was the same bike my Dad had. It's a 1957 18S, would be interested to hear if you all think it looks original from the pictures, it's supposed to be!

Also - I have started to get some parts together but the front mudguard is proving really hard to find - any ideas on where to look?

Thanks a lot!

nice start point, amazing they are still turning up.

those guards turn up on ebay now and again but what ever you do do not throw that one, or anything else away and do not fall into the trap of replacing every-thing with repro parts

There's one on ebay now. America or Oz, i forget. You should learn how to lead wipe and repair what you have.
