Now that would have been handy for Bert Munro to spin his back wheel against to take the tread off and make a slick back in '67 when he was preparing his Indian for Bonneville. It would have been quicker than a carving knife

Looks like a bit of one of my mates bike the farmer shoot with a 12 bore gun, to stop him riding his bike on his land, that was many years ago. After 60 odd years that still makes me laugh.

Re: Weekly quiz
I look at the quiz most weeks, and sometimes I enter it, have even got the right answer once or twice.
I always enjoy it and would like to thank whoever it is that takes the time to set the questions each week.
Thanks, mate.

Re: Weekly quiz
Thanks back, although this week the time is not in setting the questions it's rather marking the correct guesses. 30 so far and it's only Tuesday!JohnHewes wrote:I look at the quiz most weeks, and sometimes I enter it, have even got the right answer once or twice.

Re: Weekly quiz
This thread has been quiet for a couple of months, probably because so many of you have been correctly identifying the pictures. Well I am pleased to say that I have had lots of answers today to this weeks picture .......... and all but one of them were wrong!
I reckon next weeks is a stinker too. however after running the quiz for 3 1/2 years I am struggling to come up with challenging photos so if anyone out there can help I would be grateful. Send the photos to quiz@jampot.com
