858 OTB Model 31DL

This is not 'where is it now' but more of a 'where has it been'
I've got this 1960 AJS 31 deluxe and it has had a vast number of former keepers, spending most of its life in the Liverpool/Cheshire area.
It is now in the North East of England looking very good for its age.[:D]
I have the old green duplicate log book but wondered if anyone out there remembers the bike from new or its first 10 years of life.
I would be interested in any history.
