Ready to go ???? Look at the silencer painted red inside, stick your finger up it, if it comes out clean the bike may never had been fired up.

The guy who is selling it it is sitting right next to me right now !!
Isn't that an amazing coincidence :o :o

He delivers bikes part time and has just delivered my new one :)

He says he is very sorry, he knows it should be blue in the tail pipe !!

Oh, and it runs as sweet as apparently. He also says it is rivet perfect, right down to the pressed steel number plates and petrol taps etc

I hope you will ride your new acquisition to our Club Night next Wednesday, so we can all appreciate/admire/criticise/pull it to bits/envy or whatever?
Best regards.

Should have a 100-MPH speedo fitted. Otherwise, and the daft, upside-down tank rubbers, it's one of the better ones I've seen. Not sure why the front brake lever on the wheel is painted a racy black...

Cheers,
Al

Yes, my L/W model 8 (1960)brake stuff is on the N/S but I am not sure about the later CSR's with a proper front brake?

Yep, the speedo, my front brake lever is painted black but that's because the brake plate is also black

Unlike other people here, I'm not an expert on bikes but this is one thing I do know about. The front brake on the CSR is, indeed on the offside.

Considering the amount and quality of work on the afore mentioned bike I would have been a bit surprised if the guy who renovated it would have got that wrong.. so something else I have learned, thanks
