footrests
Hi
I need to straighten both of my footrests but before that I need to get the rubbers off. They are the thick chunky ones and they won't even budge with lubricant and washing up liquid forced down a gap stretched open with a screwdriver! can't even get them to twist they are stuck fast.. They are in very good condition so I don't want to cut them off so any ideas? or better still any ideas how to straighten the rests with the rubbers on??

Re: footrests
If it is the footrest and not the bar take the footrest off and straighten it in a vice or you could easily bend the bar insted.

Thanks all, definitely the footrests, they don' sit 90 degrees to the spline but are both bent upwardsRob Harknett wrote:If it is the footrest and not the bar take the footrest off and straighten it in a vice or you could easily bend the bar insted.

They are designed like that! It's so you can lean it over futher when cornering and not ground the foot restsOzmadman wrote: Thanks all, definitely the footrests, they don' sit 90 degrees to the spline but are both bent upwards
