Looking at these leaflets again has prompted a question. We know that the first "enlargement" of the Y4 250cc Stormer was to the Y5 370cc, and subsequently to the 410.

It's odd then that by 1976 as "FB AJS" the AJS Open Class offering was being described as a 360. Thats a move in the opposite direction to pretty much all the other makers of motocross bikes, who spent the Seventies moving from 360's and 370's to full 400's and beyond. Husky, Bultaco, CZ, Maico, KTM, Suzuki, Yamaha, etc etc all went down that route, but not AJS.

Does anyone have any idea why that might be?
