Sadly today the East Yorkshire section attended the funeral of one of its fondest members, and past twice winner of the jampot trophy, Mr Steve Rea.Over thirty motorcycles from all makes followed steve on his last motorcycle journey in a combination hearse, a minutes silence took place at our monthly meeting where it was also decided to posthumously award Steve as clubman of the year.It was also agreed that in future there will be a Steve Rea run and an award will be made to "the best bike" it will be hard to live up to steve's high standards but a great way to remember a very popular guy, R.I.P. Steve.

That's a real shock. If I'd known about this I would have been there, too.
