Hi lads,

I am in need of the casting number for the 1963-66 G12 timing cover which fits the large oil pump.
Does anyone have a dismantled engine and would care to look for the number on the cover's inside?
Spare part number is 029610, so I guess casting number is something like "029605".

The timing cover number should begin with the numbers 028.........

It does, Jim. It has taken me four years to find a sample, but finally I got lucky. The casting carries the number 028488.
