It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
It's time to meet the members on the Jampot Show tonight.

Why do we always come here?
I guess we'll never know
It's like a kind of torture
To have to watch the show ...........

;) ;)

Hope I haven't raised any hackles here! It is for my 1961 model 14. I will get onto Andrew Engineering in the morning!

The 57-64 all models workshop manual also lists a split link for the G2 / Model 14. Think the 350 was continuous though.

Mine has one and its low enough mileage to be the original :¬)

Ok that sounds right to me too,I thought mine looked original or at least very old, my model 14 is only 10800 miles according to mot certs and speedo although I am always dubious

My 350 is a continuous duplex, 17000 odd miles when I got it so I reckon that is original as well

Chain with split link finally arrived from Andrew engineering turns out it is shorter than the one that broke..... no chance it would fit, I wound up cleaning up the broken one and using the split link that came with the new one. Probably not the greatest idea but 1 hour later I was riding in the sunshine. The smile has returned to my face!!.... I feel like an annoying younger sibling, forever asking questions, but I am learning a lot. This forum is a god send. Thanks again for all the wisdom and help. Boyd
