Hi Ladies and Gents,
I am in need of knowing where to find the correct timing for a TCS - I have a nice DTC so 0.000's before TDC is the easiest method for me, any ideas?
Thank you
John

Re: 18TCS Ignition Timing?
It's in the books/ manuals, but I think you will find it's 10,98 mm or .43". That's a starting point , depending on what cams you have, engine condition , compression ratio, etc etc. Then road test and advance in stages to pinking occurs , then back off a bit. You really have to experiment, no two engines are exactly the same!

Ah, books and manuals - sadly have not yet found any! Do you know of a good source? I have just been using the parts books for the 18CS as far as the cycle parts are concerned.
Thank you for the info on 0.43"! Much appreciated, and I can now move on a little further with the build.
