Parts for Lightweight rear hub?
Does anyone know if it's possible to get parts for the Lightweight rear hub?
I think the brake shoes are available exchange from the spares scheme here - are those the correct ones? Other than that, I can't find anything.
The parts I am after are:
Brake plate (043293)
Brake cam (043294)
Lever (043295)
Sprocket (043291)
Any ideas? A complete, used wheel/hub would be ideal, but I'm struggling to find one...

YEs, those are the correct shoes for the 250CSR wheels.
The simple answer is that the other parts are not available as new items. You will need to look for second hand bits through the internet or at autojumbles. Be wary of sweet little old ladies, though. They've been sent out with their walking sticks, pointy umbrellas and sharpened elbows to source parts for their sons. (or, maybe, for themselves. )

Thanks, Janet. At least the shoes are available.
For the rest, I'll have to take my chances at the autojumble...

Or you could place a "wanted" advert in the club website/magazine.

Hello Mate try Russel motors in London for the cam & brake arm got mine from them. Andrew Engineering used to have rear sprokets a while back.

Brilliant, thanks Steve. It looks like Russell Motors still do the rear sprocket. Now I just need to find a way to get in touch with them.
Definitely interested as my brake plate is slightly bent and is proving difficult to straighten.
I can't PM because I'm not a Jampot member (yet). My email is <lists at barnfather dot net> - just replace that at with "@" and the dot with "."
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul join up with the club and you can have the brakeplate if you cover the postage - what a good deal.
PS sent you an e-mail ( i think)
Cheers

Sprockets have different tooth counts, just check yours to make sure. These bikes are under geared enough as it is so you don't want to make it worse by fitting a sprocket with too many teeth!! a tooth or two less would be better..

Re: Parts for Lightweight rear hub?
The lightweight CSR had a tooth less than the standard model but getting any to fit these days is a problem. However, I have mentioned it to one of the lovely committee and they are already looking into it. The more people who ask, tho more chance there is of sourcing some. Of course, the club spares wouldn't want to have a batch made and then nobody buy them.
