Hi I have very little damping effect on these maybe it is lack of oil any ideas on how to improve them

Hope you are not comparing them with dampers 30 years old or less. They are what they are, 58 year old design.

Assuming that you have Girling type dampers, there is a Tech. Article on how to fill them
