Hi, all back together and forks working nicely now thanks to everyone's advice and assistance. I Araldited the sleeve to the shouldered threaded collar and pressed it back on and it doesn't move a bit now.

Next job is conversion to 12v and then the MOT.

Hi

I'd also consider sticking with 6V and converting to LED lighting.
