I've just bought this bike as a non runner, new battery new plugs clean fuel and finally got it going, thing is it will only stay running on choke as soon as I turn choke off it dies and will only rev while choke is partially on. I have test rode it and won't rev high or pick up speed quickly, I've had it nice and warm and I stripped and cleaned the carb and added a little red ex. Any carb setup help or advice most welcome. It's obviously running too weak. When you took the carb off did you clean the jets? Is the joint between the carb and head sealed (also between the carb and airbox) It does sound like a blocked jet. I think these are based on an old Honda engine, CB125T twin etc. You could look for any tips on google.
