Jampot 2006

For those who don't know yet, the 2006 Jampot Rally will be hosted by the East Yorkshire Section. In true tyke fashion the Yorkshire lot have volunteered to offer assistance, as would have been expected of such a jolly fine bunch of people.

So chaps and chapesses, if you want to come you'll be heading to my territory. Southerners (that's anyone down below the Humber )please remember to bring your passports.

I suppose this means I really ought to get my Matchless put back together, unless I chuck all the bits in the car and drop them off before coming back for the LE or Honda. Then I could truthfully say I was there with my AMC machine and, who knows, by the time the rally closes the little tinkering pixies may have rebuilt it.

Janet, that's excellent news. Surrey had considered bidding, but when we heard professional people were on the case, we stood back.

Janet, what dates are Yorkshire runing the Jampot on next year? If it is to be over the August Bank Holiday then I think the Dutch club are having their 30th Anniversary Rally over the same week-end. It would be a shame if these two events were to clash.

Hull Ionians Rugby Club are based at Brantingham Park. This is the website http://www.brantinghampark.com/ For those who know the difference they play union, not league.
